The full moon day of July is set aside for students to pay homage to their teachers and receive blessing from them in return. At a place called Vyas on the Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway, special worship is performed to Maha Rishi Vyas, the saint who wrote the great Hindu epic, Mahabharata.
